Selecting the correct track spike
The below styles are only recommendations based on uses. The first style (red/white) can be used in wider range of events including sprints, jumps and distance. The second style (blue) is designed for sprinting only. The name brand is NOT important only the style. All track shoes should use 1/4 pyramids replacement spikes.
Select the right size
There's nothing worse than running in a sprint spike that's too big or too tight. Spikes that are too big will allow your foot to slide in the shoe. This causes foot and ankle injuries. Spikes that are too tight cause pain while running. When you are selecting track shoes select the "just right" size.
