Silver Medalist - 80 meter hurdles

After a week of tears, fears and cheers the Carolina Allstars return to Fuquay-Varina with
All-American honors. Cameron Snellings, Robert Williams, Latoya Wright and Jocelyn Keen
traveled to Omaha, Nebraska to participate in the 2008 USATF Junior Olympic Championships.

The most outstanding performance for the Allstars was the silver medal finish of Cameron Snellings
competing  in the midget boys 80 meter hurdles. On Saturday, July 27th, Cameron easily won his
preliminary heat  with a time of 13.32 seconds. Then on Sunday in the finals he finished second
with a personal best time and new Allstar record of 12.80 seconds, (Breaking his previous record of
12.87 seconds).

Robert Williams also received All-American honors finishing seventh in the 400 meter dash for
midget boys. Latoya Wright  competed in the intermediate girls shot put finishing sixteenth. Jocelyn
Keen finished 22nd amongst the nation's best in the intermediate girls 800 meter run.

The Carolina Allstars Track & Field would like to thank all of people and organizations that
