| Williams: Best In The Country Wins 800m Title |

On the fifth day of competition Robert Williams reigns as the nation's best at 800 meters for midget
boys. The 800 meter final could not have been any closer as it came down the wire. Williams was
able to hold off Kenneth Selmon of Gazelle Track Club in Kennesaw, Georgia narrowly winning by
.03 hundredths of a second.
He is now preparing for the USATF Region III Championship being held July 10-13 in Rock Hill,
South Carolina. If Williams places in the top three of the regional championships he will travel to
Omaha, Nebraska to compete for another national championship at the USATF Junior Olympics
Championship held July 22-27, 2008
