| Latoya Wright Makes All-American Williams Advances to 400m Final |

On day four of the Youth Outdoor Nationals Latoya Wright had a great day competing in the
intermediate girls shot put. Latoya finished fourth with a throw of 34 feet 5 3/4 inches. Top eight
finishers at the youth nationals will receive an medal for achieving all American status.
Midget boy Robert Williams advanced to the finals of the 400 meter dash. Robert finished second
in his heat with a time of 58.90 seconds. He will compete in the 800 meter final on Saturday at
3:15pm and the 400 meter final on Sunday at 11:15am.
Senior Desmond White competed in the young mens 100 meter dash. He finished with the tenth
overall time of 11.05 seconds. He will compete in the long jump later today.
Senior Jaimie Brown competed in the young women's triple jump. She will compete next month at
the USATF Region III Championship to be held in Rock Hill, South Carolina.
